For nursing student in the Philippines?

For nursing student in the Philippines?
do you have any classmate as old as 34 years old taking up nursing ? do you think this age is too late to start nursing in the Philippines? how about the job opportunities after that? let's say the student graduates when he's 38 years old and no experience, does he still have a chance to get a job there nowadays.. or is there a big age discrimination already?

Here in the US. we've old registered nurses . I don't know if you've such that job discrimination due to age.. They receive competitive salary & excellent benefit package...Have you ever wondered if a career in nursing is right for you?, if yes, Go for it and you can do it no matter how old you are. No one is too old to learn.....Good luck to you girl....

nursing graduates are a surplus here in the philippines so is it realistic in objective to study nursing in an old age?.. NO my dear. what do you expect its the P country producing mass laborers in thirst for high paying wage/salaries. unlike in china, there maybe an over production of laborers but still they amount cheaply... why? they dont spend time to stop and think on the poor lifestyle and look theyre economics is up and rising. You get the dots sorry for connecting it in economic stance. :D

My wife's aunt was a physician for almost 15 years. She went back to school and got her BSN in her early 40's. She's been in the USA at Duke Medical Center, North Carolina, for the last 15 years working as an RN. She's a US citizen now.

in the USA you will be raped by all the African coworkers so go to europe to stay safe

guys, quit taking nursing course, its not gonna be forever, in fact, the demand for nurses here are gradually getting low.. theyre hiring locals who finished atleast 2yr course. and to answer your question, yes. age doesnt matter, and no discrimination going on. so dont worry.

there is still one big chance or opportunities for a 38 years old. finish your course as magnacomlaude. or be topnotcher on your board exams. or else you will have a lower rate of chance to apply your knowledge to work.

yes. 2 of em. :) its never too late to get an education. i have co-workers who are in their 40s and are orienting as a nurse. i know of a filipina RN (who used to be in business before taking up nursing) who came to the US and worked as a nurse, she had 3 kids and a granddaughter. she was in her 40s too.
