Grade 11 (Candian) student looking to apply to a philippines university.. will they accept grade 11 credits?
I'm currently looking to apply to a philippines uni after I finish grade 11. I heard that universities in the philippines accept grade 11 ontario credits because the high school system over there ends at the Canadian equivalent of grade 11. Can anyone confirm this? I can't seem to find any information to approve or disapprove this.

i believe Grade 11 (Candian) is equivalent to a senior highschool in philippines. since in Quebec, grade 11 (sec. 5) is the final year of secondary education, most of the universities in philippines will accept any final secondary education, i'm pretty sure they'll also look through your other grade level if so, probably most of them iguess. well i hope this help :-)

You're joking right? Your best bet is to go to Japan and get it from there.

How much for Condo rental in the Philippines?
How much for Condo rental in the Philippines?
How much is the average condo rental here in the Philippines? I will be a college student and would be looking forward for a condo (I can't go with Dorms as I have "excessive" power usage)/ How much is the average here, in the Intramuros Area?

if we rely on internet listings, it's too much for student budget. maybe you can be a boarder paying for your own electric bill. http://www.viviun.com/Rentals/Philippines/Condos/
2 :
in our two condo units at Makati (Buendia Towers) and Vito Cruz (Burgundy Towers, close to DLSU) usually around P10,000/month, upon rental (2months deposit/2months advance with PDC)....if you have any questions, email me at denz_diane@yahoo.com....

How can my cousin apply for a US student visa? She is from the philippines, but lives in Abu Dhabi?
How can my cousin apply for a US student visa? She is from the philippines, but lives in Abu Dhabi?
I am assisting my cousin by being an official sponsor for her US student visa. All of the the Documents on my end were fine. Sent her paperwork, then she was denied in the Philippines. The interview didn't even last 3 minutes. due to lack of ties and assests. I don't understand, how can she have assests if she just starting out and a student? I've been told sometimes its due to them making the quota already. Now she lives in Abu Dhabi and currently working, but she is planning on applying from there. Is the chances of getting approved better there than in the Philippines? Any advice or expiences you would recommend to help ease the process? Do I start the same process all over again just as it was in the Philippines? Many thanks

She needs to have an acceptance from a US university. Then she needs to demonstrate that she is likely to leave the US at the end of her studies. She can apply from Abu Dhabi but the INS agents there will be more expert in the local customs etc. and, all things being equal, will be more likely to refuse a visit request than the INS agents in the Philippines.

If she was truly trying for a student visa instead of just illegally entering, her US school would've taken care of all her visa requirements.
