How to become an exchange student from the Philippines?
How to become an exchange student from the Philippines?
I'm from the Philippines and I REALLY want to go to school in a foreign country because I really have a hard time with the language even if I was born here. I find the language unimportant and I' not that interested. And I'm not full Filipino, my dad and mum both have mixed bloods and races so I don't look like Asian (and my mum is the Filipino and my dad is a foreigner) So I really want to study in a anywhere that isn't hard to get in to. (except countries in Asia, but Singapore is okay) Thanks and please no rude comments :) And I really like traveling and learning other cultures, and my lifestyle is for an American type. I have relatives from America (if they can do something but we don't have much contact with them) THANKS ONCE MORE!! God Bless :)

Start by checking with your school teacher or in the school office about it. Most schools these days have the programs right in their schools so that you can apply right there.

no shortcuts doctor wannabe! it is like connecting intestines to the stomach not to esophagus ok! do the right process because you might can get away of it right now but in the future if you finished doctor's degree PRC requirements will check your records before examination.
2 :
That depends on the school which you plan to attend. Highly competitive schools like UP or UST won't consider you at all without an NMAT, because their admissions are based upon the score which you receive. Most medical school that are less famous and private, especially outside of Metro Manila might allow you to enroll without the NMAT. In order for it to be legal, they will enroll you as a TEMPORARY, NON-DEGREE student. You will be required to take the NMAT in December, and submit it to CHED for approval. This is an arrangement you have to make with the medical school that intends to enroll you.

yes u do need Visa and student visa or any visa u can apply at the same place
2 :
Philippine Embassy nearest your location.
3 :
Everyone has to have a visa. You can get it here though at the airport. That's a tourist visa good for 21 days that can be renewed every two months. Easy. You may be required to have a student visa for the school though and I would start that at home . Call the school.
4 :
yes. schools will look for that from foreign students. go to the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation in Intramuros, Manila after you've enrolled. apply for a student visa, but i believe they'll give 6 months so you don't have to renew if you'll just be here for less than 5.

I would avoid the gov't there. They are corrupt, money grubbers who pocket the money anyway. Just pay the 25 dollar fine when you exit late. Almost all foreigners are allowed in on a renewable 21 day visa.
