Everyone has to have a visa. You can get it here though at the airport. That's a tourist visa good for 21 days that can be renewed every two months. Easy. You may be required to have a student visa for the school though and I would start that at home . Call the school.

yes. schools will look for that from foreign students. go to the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation in Intramuros, Manila after you've enrolled. apply for a student visa, but i believe they'll give 6 months so you don't have to renew if you'll just be here for less than 5.

I would avoid the gov't there. They are corrupt, money grubbers who pocket the money anyway. Just pay the 25 dollar fine when you exit late. Almost all foreigners are allowed in on a renewable 21 day visa.
