There are quite a few like buy and sell, food cart, etc. But in entering a business venture start a business that you already are familiar with and like doing. Attend seminars on how to put up or build a business before you enter into the field. What might work for others (even if its a small capital) might not work for you because you have no idea how to run it.

What can be a good practice schedule for a high school student playing the violin?
What can be a good practice schedule for a high school student playing the violin?
I am 14 years old and in 3rd Year High School (Philippines). I don't want to seem like I'm bragging or anything but I am an honor student so I have to study hard to maintain my grades. I usually study for 6 hours and maybe even more if there's a lot of homework. I'm equally passionate though on practicing my violin and considering on being a professional someday. If there is a schedule that you can suggest, I would really appreciate it. :)

You will find that practising an instrument actually helps with the ordeal of studying. 6 hours homework a day sounds like a lot - have you tried to find "shortcuts" so that you can do the same amount of work but in less time? I taught a boy who was studying piano at a very advanced level and he was able to fit all his practice into a one hour session every morning before school. That way, he didn't have to worry about it for the rest of the day. He appeared on television and everything so he certainly knew his stuff. If your parents are willing to sit with you during your practice session (at least initially) in order to keep you on track, that can help. Remember, it's not the amount, but the FREQUENCY, that matters.

The nearest place you can inquire about such is on pharmacy, like mercury drug store, maybe through that effort they can give you some information about this concern. Good luck ..............

Instead of the internet you should go to Mercury Drug or Rose Pharmacy. BTW did you know that croton oil is a "good" cure for a cough? LOL

Am I still considered an international student if I am a permanent resident?
Am I still considered an international student if I am a permanent resident?
I am from the Philippines, and I have been granted permanent residency in Canada. I have just graduated from a Philippine high school. I am planning to attend a university in Alberta. I understand that international students pay more for university study. Will I also pay more even if I am a permanent resident? Am I considered a Canadian student because I am a permanent resident even if I am not a Canadian citizen?

Once you are a PR you are no longer an international student. Canada assumes you will get your citizenship as soon as you can, in three years.
