Is there any call center jobs available to 1st year college students in the philippines?
If so, please post details. I need a job and I am planning to apply at a call center if ever they accept undergradates. I'm actually a second year college student but didn't finish my second semester due to financial problems, would it qualify me for a call center job if I'm a second year college student but finished only 1 semester? thanks

actually, qualifications may vary, but it's more on showing your attitude and dedication towards the job. in addition, if you nail the exams, interviews and everything else, sometimes, you have to be at least a college student in order to join the workforce. if you are currently not enrolled, then you could actually apply for a position in the BPO industry just as long as you are qualified for the post. by all means, apply. after all, you will never find out if you don't try, even if you're an undergrad. usually, they'll give phone interviews, one-on-one interviews, or panel interviews, depending on client needs. usually there's an exam for english grammar, US culture and the whole shebang..they could give you exams on technical knowledge. if you happen to be qualified, you could be in! but if you plan to be a working student, some call centers could be skeptic as working students are statistically one of the main reasons for attrition. just make sure that you are able to handle the pressure and stress in the environment. there are some contact centers that are considerate in terms of adjusting to your preferred schedule (if studying), but bear in mind that you are there to work (and is actually paid to report to work at any time), and some clients could be slave drivers, and may get your hands tied because of the demands entailed. but don't fret. i am not discouraging you, but that's how this works. good luck with your endeavor and hopefully, be able to finish college :D
