What is the step by step process for getting a student visa and how long does it take?
I will be studying in the Philippines starting in November, but I don't know how to get a student visa, I don't know how long it takes, how much it costs, and how long it will be valid (I'm hoping to be there for 4 years). Does anyone know the step by step process for getting a student visa ? And also do I have to go to the consulates office or can I apply from my home? I live in California right now if that happens to affect anything.

Go to the university's website that you will be attending in the Philippines and they will have all the information you will need in regarding 'foreign students'.
